56 Meeting on Nuclear Spectroscopy and Nuclear Structure " Features of Nuclear Excitation States and Mechanisms of Nuclear Reactions" will be held on September 3-8, 2006 in Sarov, a town located at the territory of Mordvinian reserve, 180 km from the regional center - Nizhny Novgorod.

Sarov is a Russian center uniting two unique places. First of them is a monastery, far-famed in the former days - Sarov hermitage, and the second is a modern center of the Russian science - Russian Federal Nuclear Center - All-Russia Scientific-Research Institute of Experimental Physics. Sarov hermitage gave us Seraphim Sarovsky, a Russian just. RFNC-VNIIEF can be proud of its successes in Nuclear Physics as well as of its high scientific potential.
